Early engineer at Figma. I contributed to the core product and infrastructure of both Figma Design and FigJam.
Product Highlights
• I worked with a handful of engineers to ship v1 of Figma. I built various features in the editor, some solo and others in small teams.
• Launched v1 of our prototyping features on a team of 3. Later managed this team as grew from 3 -> 7 eng. While under my leadership we we overhauled our renderer and released our flagship animation feature, Smart Animate.
• I was among the first two engineers to work on FigJam, Figma's whiteboarding product.
Technical Highlights
• Expert in multiplayer sync. Advised various teams on multiplayer feature development.
• I co-authored the internal tooling that powers Figma’s C++ ↔ TypeScript interoperability.
• Led a 2021 initiative with an 8-person team to cut mobile crash rates by 84% in three months.
• Spearheaded a 2022 project to modularize our core editor codebase for easier reuse.
