I am currently part of a team that is responsible for maintaining the fleet of services that power the Bleacher Report app. My current focus is on maintaining and improving the services that power our best-in-class push notification performance.

Previously, I have worked on efforts consisting of but not limited to designing and building a microservice responsible for managing and delivering live events to our users, designing and building a service to provide a search solution to our internal users with a focus on resilience, designing and building a service to provide real-time updates to client apps using Web sockets and Phoenix Channels.

As a Senior Engineer, I also work to help lead my team by refining and planning the features and work, leading book clubs, and mentoring less experienced engineers.

As a Backend Engineer at B/R I was part of a team focused on delivering video and live experiences to our users.

I designed and built a microservice responsible for managing and making live events available to our users. I also maintained a legacy service that delivers on demand video.

To enable some features that involved real-time updates on our clients, I built and maintained a service utilizing Phoenix channels and presence.

I created a proof of concept to understand how we might integrate live video streaming into our product.

Help clients solve problems and bring their ideas to life using technologies such as Elixir/Phoenix, Ruby/Rails, React, Vue and more.

Maintained an extensive legacy Angular codebase for a large company in the music streaming industry.

Lead an effort to update the legacy codebase to meet Web Accessibility Guidelines.

Participated in a complete rewrite and redesign of the frontend for the company's streaming site using Angular 4+.
