Accomplishments:

• Work on a 6-week sprint with the Project Manager, Designer, & Senior Developer to redesign our customer-facing widget.

• Hack Day project that was deployed to Production to create a UI for common developer queries, which empowered other teams to perform database lookups and generate reports independently.

• Lead engineer on a project to reduce customer support tickets by implementing new settings pages to allow customers to set up their widget independently.

• Designed secure and robust internal & external API endpoints to gather additional metrics data and improve customer reports.

• Reduced waste sorting game set-up time by 80% by identifying redundancies and proposed the eventual solutions, workflow changes, and new feature addition.

• Consistently wrote testable code with E2E Cypress tests & Unit tests.

• Co-lead a book club across the company to collectively learn on topics that can help us optimize work & flow.

Responsibilities:

• Work through developer queue to respond to bug reports, system upgrades & new features.

• Ensure CI is always deployable & investigate and fix CI failures while communicating across teams when larger CI failures occur.

• Knowledge share and communicate across teams regarding new features, bug status & general product questions.

• Provide feedback to teammates through 1:1 pair programming sessions and code reviews.
