Working in Marketdata Engineering group, responsible to develop and maintain the infrastructure used to stream real-time quotes from exchanges around the world. We constantly work towards making systems more reliable and scalable.

• Enhance system library used for streaming and storage of quotes

• Work with Product Developers to add functionality to meet client needs

• Build monitoring tools to ensure data verification and minimal downtime

• Enhanced build-system tools and operational utilities used by engineers across the department as well as identified need for new tools to encourage and standardize best practices.

Built functionality to help banks keep a check on daily trading limit of its counterparties in commodity electronic trade.

Developed a caching service in C++ to cache database data and verify limit for every counterparty, and daily reset was performed on demand by comparing time, also supported multiple time zones.

Instituted a web-based Cab Booking Management System using PHP, Oracle SQL, and CSS for employees to easily manage their cab bookings
