Worked on big data management for a project important to city planning. My role in the project was implementing an open systems interconnection model: set up servers, link temperature and time data from sensors scattered around Sacramento area, and then route to our API to help characterize heat island effects of our suburbs. We hope this will aid in building more heat efficient cities.

Developed a budget for the project within a 6 month timeline including deliverables, milestones, and activities. Developed and carried-out team management for undergraduate student involvement. Oversaw students working on the project; manage day-to-day activities of roughly 10 core undergraduate and graduate students, to achieve project deliverables, milestones, and activities. Conform to all provisions outlined in the US Dept. of Energy Solar Decathlon Rules Manual. Provide appropriate mentorship to participants to help them perform specific job functions related to their participation in the competition.

Tutor of courses in Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics and Laboratory. Analyze concepts and methods of experiemntation in engineering non/ideal thermodynamical systems. See UC Davis' courses in ECH 145A, and ECH 152A/B for more detail. Future: tutor for laboratory experiments in chemical engineering transport phenomena.
