VIIRS Advanced Integration & Test
(1) Thermal Vacuum (TVAC) Testing Integration and Planning Responsible Engineer (REA)
• Collaborated with design, structural, and quality engineers to create and streamline thermal vacuum test planning for the VIIRS Sensor.
• Owned the build of a large vacuum chamber in 10K clean room to prepare it for a 6-month long 24/7 TVAC testing campaign.
• Simulated a space environment to test the VIIRS Sensor’s survivability in a vacuum of 10-7 torr, cycled from -180 C to 100 C.
• Operated VIIRS using Eclipse Satellite Command and Control Software to ensure functionality simulating on-orbit checkouts.
(2) Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and EO/IR Special Test Equipment Responsible Engineer (REA)
• Cooperated with structural analysis engineers to develop GSE requirements and used thermal test data to implement hardware changes.
• Validated Thermal and Optical Special Test Equipment Requirements to ensure nominal performance during VIIRS environmental testing.
• Troubleshooted spacecraft testing hardware as part of an on-call floor support team, improving reliability and lowering cost on future tests.
• Created test plans, updated, and released STE CAD drawings and made process improvements to hardware testing procedures.
2017 — 2017
Cape Canaveral, Florida
• Interfaced with design, launch, and build reliability engineers, and headed a team of 30 technicians to facilitate the final integration of F9.
• Performed and oversaw all vehicle level integration operations, from system level checkouts to static fire and launch in a timely manner.
• Investigated flaws, and dispositioned quick solutions to minimize schedule impact and permanently reduced risk to the launch vehicle.
• Developed metrics using SQL to quantify issue trends which decreased time spent on off-nominal tasks and ramp up production rate.

Limbitless Solutions is a non-profit organization devoted to building a generation of innovators who use their skills and passion to improve the world around them. We use additive manufacturing to advance personalized bionics and solutions for disabilities. We believe that no family should have to pay for their child to receive an arm. Now we want to lead by example and encourage communities to innovate with compassion. Limbitless Solutions headquarters is located at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, FL.
I helped co-found the first satellite branch of Limbitless Solutions at the University of Florida in Gainesville on May 12th, 2015. The Gainesville Branch focused on developing improved methods of manufacturing and comfort of the Limbitless Solutions Bionic Limb. Upon acceptance of our first prototype arm model, we were ushered into the company and made ourselves known.
Alejandro, an 8 year old child who was born without a right forearm, turned into Shark Boy when Limbitless Solutions: Gainesville Branch made its first delivery on December 15th, 2015. This arm delivery was featured on ABC news, and greatly aided in garnering worldwide support for our cause.

Responsibilities
Co-founded Limbitless Solutions: Gainesville, established a dynamic leadership system, and set engineering standards for documentation.
Headed a team of 20 through the design and development of a bionic arm using electromyography actuation and additive manufacturing.
Oversaw the research and development of a bionic elbow and water proofing methods to be implemented on future Limbitless arm models.
Delivered our first bionic arm to an 8 year old on Dec 15th, 2015, and garnered national recognition—causing a 600% membership surge.
