• Upgrade logic around how securities are processed in large distributed application in the Lua language.

• Built out logging and dashboards to keep track of problematic securities using Lua and Grafana.

• Built a stand alone Python Spark application to handle missing data related to holidays by creating an API,

hosting a listening application, and writing to an SQL database.

• On-call triage for issues related to PORT data and fixed issues related to the distributed Lua application.

• Maintain an older plain javascript application that created endpoints for the PORT user screen.

• Migrate features from plain Javascript to Typescript application that follows MVC paradigm.

• Added features such as data visualizations to user facing screens.

• Upgrade a large number of C++ jobs, running with cron from the command line, to work on Linux instead of Unix.

Added API endpoints to Ruby on Rails Application used for tracking marketing data.

• Create virtual tables for quick queries from users using data aggregation techniques in PostgreSQL in a Ruby wrapper.

• Launched a 2.0 version of the Ruby application through the maintenance phase.

• Led the push away from a monolith to smaller services for 2.0

• Provided bug fixing and design updates to an existing React with Redux frontend.-

• Maintain a Java application with MySQL database, and Velocity frontend serving millions of users daily.

• Add features to the application as requests come in from the product team familiarizing, maintaining and bug fixing a seven-year-old codebase.

• Led the effort to create a backup system of static pages in Javascript.

• Collaborate with marketing, product, and design to triage issues when they arrive.-

Provide guidance and help to struggling physics students - mainly non-physics major students. Worked during semesters.
