Helped ship 2 major features shaping the future of the iOS multilingual user experience.

Collaborated extensively with various teams spread around different organizations to collect and centralize on-device signals from sources such as Safari, Messages, Voicemail, Settings, and various Apple Services (Music, Podcasts, TV, Books) into a knowledge graph processing pipeline.

Made various fixes to improve language detection, scoring and confidence determination algorithms, localization daemons, and created foundational infrastructure for sources to donate their language consumption (including 3rd party integrations).

Also assisted in the shipping and development of a bilingual arabizi latin to arabic script transliteration keyboard, assisting with model training and data cleaning/augmentation/generation pipelines

Evolve Rotational Program second rotation. Engineer on the  Music Android team.

• Worked closely with a senior engineer to profile, assess, and optimize a core component of the application

• Fixed bugs across the extremely vast domain of the app — having touched ExoPlayer & playback stack, library sync, downloads, and metadata.

• Helped in the development of new features, most notably the collaboration of Apple Music on Rivian

Evolve Rotational Engineer. First Rotation on the Maps Platform Development team. Team oversees deployments, workflows, production automation, and traffic management for all of  Maps, owning various tools and platforms to support the organization as a whole.

Made various contributions to the team's arsenal of tools, improvements to overall quality of life, and implemented various features that gave visibility into our production stack.

Spearheaded the planning and development of a tool to automate triage for workflow failures across all of maps. Leveraged and worked with many teams cross-functionally, and put together a highly scalable and future proof project.
