I recruited and managed a fully remote team of 10 engineers. As tech leader of the team, I mapped the technical roadmap, helped the engineers plan and architect their solutions, promoted collaboration across timezones and ensured timely bug & incident resolution.

One of my latest projects has been to outline and execute our Height 2.0 roadmap — transforming Height into an autonomous PM tool leveraging AI. This involved:

• building an internal tool to iterate and tests our LLM prompts on Height-specific data.

• integrating smart workflows such as auto-triage, regression detection, auto team assignment, standup generation and task de-duplication

• adding support for teams to better organize tasks

• expanding chat support to teams/lists/views to increase collaboration

• evolve permission system to support inherited permissions between the different objects

Alongside my management duties, I continued working as IC, shipping some of our more complex features such as some of our smart workflows and permissions & performance improvements.

As first engineer/employee, I got to work on every part of the stack. I teamed up with our founder/CEO to brainstorm and build the core features of Height to make Height a highly customizable and fully featured project management tool. I helped hire and mentor new engineers.

Some examples of features I worked on:

• customizable filtering system and custom attributes so you can organize and find any data you want

• highly performant spreadsheet view of tasks

• fully-featured chat on each task with complete markdown support/link unfurls/internal references/…

• permission system to allow read/write access to tasks for members/guests or the web.

• full-text search on tasks/chat/lists/users data with full support for filters and permissions

iOS Engineer on Outlook Mobile.

I was part of the merger between the Sunrise and Outlook (formerly Acompli) Team.

I worked on integrating all the expertise of Sunrise Calendar and its features in Outlook iOS as well as an entire redesign of the app. Soon after I joined, I implemented the algorithm to improve the readability of non-responsive emails on mobile (shared by iOS and Android). I continued enriching the app by adding more features and improving stability while taking more ownership of the product and working with other Microsoft teams to provide integration of their service.

Web developer on Sunrise Desktop (Web/Mac/Chrome app)

I joined the web app team as second engineer and worked amongst others on:

• Creating a wrapper around IndexedDB and WebSQL to support both databases transparently

• Reimplementing most of the app in React for improved performance

• Implementing a Mac app wrapper that integrates the Web app in a native environment
