Android Developer at eBay - View Item Team
As an Android Developer on the View Item Team at eBay, I launched projects under multiple focus categories, including Parts & Accessories (P&A), Collectibles, Fashion, and Refurbished. My work involves enhancing the user experience and driving growth in these key areas.
• Parts & Accessories (P&A) and Value Added Services (VAS): I led/contributed to projects such as Parts Installation, Tire Installation, Warranty services, eBay Vault (now PSA Vault) and Grading Add-on. P&A represents approximately 20% of eBay’s global Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) and continues to grow with these initiatives.
• View Item UI Redesign: Worked on redesigning the View Item user interface, focusing on modules like the Buy Box, Image Panel, Coupon layer, Auction flow, Make Offer flow, and Selling flow to enhance user engagement and conversion rates to drive GMV.
• Collectibles: Led initiative such as PSA Card Insights where we enhanced the buyer experience by integrating PSA graded card information into View Item page. Improving transparency and trust, and driving conversion and engagement among trading card enthusiasts. Collectible is the largest contributor to GMV with the continue growth of trading card.
• Architecture and tech debt: Such as Kotlin, Retrofit, Compose migration, GraghQL integration
