• Developing system to detect and enforce malicious links/contents sharing on Facebook platform

• Developing system to detect and enforce repeated offenders and highly suspicious entities using Graph Learning Algorithms

• Developing system to detect and enforce civic related abusive behaviors

• Maintaining systems for detecting and enforcing fake/phished/compromised accounts, abusive contents and user behaviors

Tech Stacks: mostly Facebook's equivalence (or customized version) of frameworks and tools from the Open Source world

I have been working in three different teams since I joined Groupon:

• Voucher Inventory Service Team

• Developing and maintaining a large-scale web application for Groupon's inventory service with Ruby on Rails framework that serves global inventory data. Maintained a primary Rails API at >7MM RPM, which is used by all of Groupon’s consumer and merchant facing applications

• Local Third Party Ingestion Team

• Constructing a partner integration platform responsible for $2.5 M in monthly gross billings. Designed a massive ETL pipeline responsible for constructing Groupon deals out of third party inventory (such as Goldstar, FanXchange, Viator) by using Java 8 stream processing. Coordinated large-scale feature development across multiple teams

• Finance Engineering Team

• Developing a global merchant payment service for transactions, invoices and merchant payments calculation for all Groupon verticals. Integrated with Netsuite general ledger system, JPMC banking partners and Salesforce payment contract details
