Project Name: EXMUX 4500 & 3501
Description: Design and development of EXMUX applications.
EXMUX is a utility automation product mainly carrying legacy payloads such as SYNC, ASYNC, C37.94, T1/E1 over Ethernet between substations and control room. This product includes a switch supports CE services (E-LAN, E-LINE et.) and Ethernet protection (in sub 50ms) RSTP/G.8032 with 12 ports including four 10G and four 1G fiber and four 1G cu ports.
Role: Team Member Applications and Platform ownership
Responsibilities:
Develop board support package for AM335x and Atmel sam9x60 based controller modules
Bring-up and support I/O peripherals such as RS232, i2c, SPI, CAN and ACTEL interface drivers.
Design and develop a switch manager application to configure the Carrier Ethernet Switch using SNMPv3, SSH and Serial.
Support and port a four-port serial to Ethernet packetize control module to newer Linux kernel and platform.
Bring-up an unmanaged Layer 2 switch (Microchip’s VSC7511) for inter chassis communication.
Develop inter chassis network scheme for smart IUs.
Contributed in developing redundant controller application for failover and configuration mirroring.
Develop Power on Test application to validate the hardware modules to reduce the manual verification process in the production environment
Project Name: GARD 8000 PRO / 61850 System Softwares
Description: Platform development for GARD applications.
GARD (Global Architecture Relaying Device) is a utility automation product mainly for Tele and Line protection control system.

Responsibilities:
Support BSP for AM335x and AM5078 based CPU
Porting and integration of Triangle Microworks 61850 protocol stack
Porting obsolete PPC based controllers for Ethernet based trip protection module
System software bug fixing & feature support for GOOSE and main controller
Port RS232 / RS422 & 485, i2c, SPI, CAN bus, ACTEL FPGA drivers
