Project 1: Web Application Development and planning for Monsanto's Technology Pipeline.

Environment: JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA, Sublime Text and Subversion

Responsibilities

• Currently working on the client side using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and its libraries viz. jQuery, Underscorejs, Backbonejs, Requirejs, Angularjs and Unit testing using Jasmine Js on a daily basis in an Agile environment.

• Future activities include writing the server side and business layer using Java Hibernate entities, DAOs, SQL etc as required.

Project 2: Research and prototype development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle technology and Image Analytics as a feasible option for crop scouting.

Environment: Arduino, OpenCV, Java

Responsibilities:

• Research on the novel technology of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and image post-processing and look into the possibility of using the same as a potential alternative to human crop scouting in remote locations.

• Work on development of a prototype automated using Arduino Microcontroller.

• Research on image post processing methods for feature extraction and pattern recognition using OpenCV algorithms.

I maintained and designed the MMR (Master of Marketing Research) department’s website and its database. Important changes during my tenure include redesigning the entire design of the website which was previously static to dynamic and interactive using some of the state of the art web technologies and libraries.
