• migrated obs stack from SaltStack to Kubernetes

• developed a system for infra teams to distribute default alerts for all production teams at RH, significantly increasing our alerting/monitoring posture by providing standardized observability for all applications at the company

2nd founding engineer of the Observability team (metrics, logging, tracing). Kept our observability stack alive w/ 1 other engineer during our most critical period of growth in 2020. Drove the company to evaluate observability solutions and replace our legacy ones.

Infrastructure engineering, series A startup (~50 people, ~15 engineers).

• Deployed and managed our company's first ever Kafka cluster (using Amazon MSK) to scale our highest throughput features (100s of millions events/day)

• Designed and implemented a job queue abstraction backed by Kafka to replace our previous Redis-backed job queue

• Owned our Jenkins code deployment pipeline, maintaining reliability and observability

• Built out various front-end components of our Chrome extension's Gmail integration in React
