Build features powering demand platform (Ads Manager/Business Manager), ad delivery, ad formats, moderation, audiences, SKAdNetwork, Snap Promote, delivery optimization windows, etc.

Collaborating closely with Ads/Business Manager, Ad Delivery, Mobile, Attribution, Ranking, Business Integrity, Reporting, Targeting, third-party integrations, and more.

👻 Business & Profiles Platform

* Design, implement, and deploy revenue-impacting features. Drive public profile adoption (+400% YoY).

* Spearhead cross-team projects working with Ads, Places, Stores, etc. as part of monetization efforts. Worked closely with Ads in particular.

* Own Tier-1 (business critical) services and lead operational excellence efforts by incorporating new technologies (Kubernetes, Envoy, Service Mesh, etc) deployed on both AWS and GCP. This reduced latencies and increased availability (99.5%).

* Collaborate with team to reduce cost on all services with the largest savings being $93k/year.

AWS Marketplace Global Financial Systems

* Architected and maintain core financial services that process all transactional data for ISVs and resellers in AWS Marketplace.

* Designed, tested, and deployed new services that improved reliability and enabled expansion into new markets.

* Established best practices guidelines within the team reducing code review churn and turnaround time.

* Mentored intern through a 12-week project I planned from the design review to prod deployment.

* Overhauled team documentation and help ramp up new SDE 1s and 2s to the team.

AWS Marketplace Infrastructure (Distributed Systems)

* Implemented new features in custom severless orchestrator dedicated to powering AWS Marketplace workflows.

* Utilized test-driven development to implement APIs for platform team to add additional functionality for AWS Marketplace platform. Utilized Mockito and JUnit for testing.

* Designed and implemented serverless architecture using CloudFormation, AWS Lambda, SNS, SQS and DynamoDB to parallelize data processing for incoming requests to service. Resulted in increased throughput by 20x (to 700 TPS) and reduced server latencies by 34% on average.

* Taught CSE 220 recitation classes of 20-30 students the concepts of computer organization, MIPS architecture, and control path design.

* Helped introduce the MIPS Assembly programming language through live coding sessions.

* Held office hours for 3 hours each week and moderated and answered questions on Piazza for over 150 students.

* Graded homework assignments and exams.
