I am the product owner and leader of the product management team responsible for the Verizon Media Video Syndication Platform, an Online Video Platform that allows our partners to ingest, find, syndicate and monetize video. Our platform is responsible for executing video across the entire global portfolio of owned and operated sites of Aol, Huffington Post, TechCrunch, Engadget, Autoblog, BeOn etc as well as the the Video Activation network which serves 76M+ unique monthly viewers, thousands of content creators, thousands of publishers, and a host of tier one media companies. Our platform is global, mobile enabled, and openly integrated with major ecosystem players.
Some of the things I'm proud of doing while at Verizon:
Joined, organized, and grew a geographically distributed product management team across Seattle, New York, London, and Tel Aviv. Team includes UI/ UX teams in Seattle and Tel Aviv.
Led team through large scale development and launch scenarios that spanned our entire OVP: video player, reporting, content management system, ad server, media rights management, OTT delivery, mobile sdk, ingestion, and publisher tools. Some exciting developments included 360/VR player features, HTML player conversion, development of a media rights management module, implementing brand safety filters for our video traffic, and a significant UI/UX redesign from GWT to Angular.
Created processes and a lightweight operating structure while maintaining startup development velocity
Significantly improved monetization rates of video inventory across our publisher network.
Grew revenue 37% YoY, into a 9 digit business.
Streamed live NFL football game onto our publisher network apps: iOS, Android. Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars in London 2017.
Expanded scope of responsibilities to own several shared components across the Verizon Media ad stack, including the video ad client, reporting, and brand safety.

Led a team of product managers and analysts. Team’s charter spanned Profile Targeting, Behavioral Targeting, Xbox targeting, offline attribution targeting products, CRM targeting, DMP Integrations, custom behavioral targeting, cross device sequential targeting and site remarketing.
Revenue accountability for ad targeting products across Microsoft: Skype, XBox, Windows, video, MSN, and mobile.
Global P&L responsibility for data partnerships. Renegotiated existing data partnerships, increasing profitability by 28%.
Leveraging Microsoft data assets, expanded addressable audience of profile and behavioral targeting products by 25%
Lead strategy in selecting, optimizing and negotiating commercial deals with multiple data providers. Increased targetable US user base by 8%, through strategic partnerships, increasing reach and revenue for high margin brand products.
Responsible for data platform interoperability strategy.

Managed strategic business development which included responsibility for the largest data partnerships at Yahoo.
Pitching, negotiating, signing and then managing strategic partnerships with the largest digital and offline data partners in the US
Strategic partnerships included (i) joint ad sales partnerships monetizing premium Yahoo ad inventory through data (ii) deep technical ad serving and data partnerships for large scale audience targeting efforts (iii) non-guaranteed ad network and data partnerships via the Right Media exchange. These partnerships generated over $70M of top line revenue annually.
