Project Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all project management related to the Chicago International Model United Nations website’s frontend engineering including the associated admin website in accordance with the agile/lean methodologies

• Engineer reusable frontend assets from scratch using Storybook and Styled Components using the best practices in Typescript and the Next.js framework

• Implement repo management efforts including linting, strict typescript checks, pre-commit hooks, rigorous code reviews, and proper branching practices

• Design high-fidelity website design prototypes in Figma

Project Responsibilities:

• Initialize and set up new Next Gen International Inventory Management Systems(IMS) apps with React Native and appConfig API’s

• Publish several internal Next Gen mini-apps to internal npme and integrate each into a central composite React Native app for best Walmart Associate experience while on the job

• Construct CI/CD pipeline for Next Gen apps using Looper(internal tool built on top of Jenkins) by writing .yml files to run automated tests, monitor code hygiene and standards, deploy, publish, etc.

• Update and Support legacy Cordova apps during transition to Next Gen apps
