Chronic Conditions Management Platform

• The solutions I've worked on have been adopted by over 700k patients across the US, for diseases including diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, chronic kidney disease, and obesity.

• Collaborated closely with interdisciplinary teams of providers and stakeholders to design & build platforms for long-term patient care.

• Designed and built the new clinical solutions for managing chronic kidney disease (CKD) and heart failure, at home and post hospital release.

• Rearchitected the entire chronic conditions platform into a scalable and modular system, allowing for much easier addition of solutions for various chronic diseases.

Developed and built clinical solutions for hypertension management.

Dorian Liepmann Lab:

• Project focused on developing a novel drug delivery method for individuals with diabetes using concepts from bioMEMS and microfluidics. By using electrolysis of water to drive flow, we can create controlled insulin (or any drug) delivery in vivo.

• Also tested the reverse reaction and its potential as a noninvasive alternative to traditional biopsies.

Michel Maharbiz Lab:

• Quantified protein activity and the effects of varying levels of pH on protein enrichment.

• Executed protocols and experiments from preparation to data analysis:

— Preparation, designing experiments, and defining/iterating/finetuning protocols

— Wet lab skills (cleanroom protocols, handling biohazardous/chemical materials + waste, pipetting, etc.)

— Fabrication and preparation of BioMEMs and Microfluidic Devices

— Data collection using Fluorescence Spectroscopy (fluorescent bonding of antibodies)

— Spectroscopy image analysis via ImageJ

— Statistical and graphical analyses of data

A skilled peer leader who facilitated the social, academic, and personal integration of students to the residence hall and University, and worked to create an inclusive, socially-just community.

• Trained in crisis management, conflict mediation, mental health/suicide ideation, safety/emergency protocols, and building management.

• Assisted residents with identifying personal needs and connecting/referring them to counseling or other relevant resources.

• Engaged students through one-on-one conversations, community meetings, and strategies that target the needs of the community.

Residence Hall Staff Council Representative:

• Additional position outside of traditional RA responsibilities

• Directly worked with University administration to analyze and pilot future initiatives to improve campus residential life.
