Currently working in the Search Runtime team at Walmart, building large-scale backend systems that power search across Walmart’s digital platforms, handling billions of queries daily for millions of products worldwide. I design and build high-performance, low-latency services using Java, Spring Boot, and search technologies such as Apache Solr to deliver reliable and scalable search experiences.
My role involves processing and mining structured and semi-structured data from product catalogs, transactions, query logs, and behavioral signals to improve search relevance, ranking, and personalization. I collaborate closely with product, data science, and platform teams to apply information retrieval that directly impact customer experience and business metrics.
In addition to core development, I lead production troubleshooting, contribute to system reliability and performance optimization, and help maintain a high-availability search platform used across Walmart’s web and mobile applications.
