Sr. Project Manager – Training, Communications & User Experience

Navigated a complex and diverse stakeholder management structure to deliver a successful training and communication program, on time and under budget, for BlueQuote - BCBSMA's small group quoting system.

This included developing training strategy, curriculum, e-learning and micro-learning webinars and delivered training to internal teams and a large group of external broker partners.

Improved BlueQuote system functionality by identifying and managing changes to user interface design, content and navigation.

Developed the communication strategy and all marketing and change management content for release to internal and external users.

Designed, developed and implemented training programs for State Street’s internal end-to-end audit management system. This four-year project included working with the vendor and project team to design/redesign the user interface, perform user acceptance and regression testing and develop a training database to support the training initiative.

Developed and delivered role and scenario-based training that incorporated audit methodology, best practices and demonstrated the system workflow to a world-wide audience.

Created an on-line library of training materials that included quick reference cards and recorded webinars to support just-in-time and job transition needs.

Provided users with opportunities to suggest system enhancements, process improvements and share knowledge through an on-line discussion board in an effort to increase employee satisfaction and aid the transition to a new system.

Created a three-person talk show to deliver a key training component necessary to ensure Fidelity’s ISO 27001 certification. BT Global Services, Fidelity’s certification partner and leader of IT information security preparedness, adopted this format for use in their worldwide certification campaigns.

Designed a program for IT Project Managers that included a comprehensive mentor program and a Spaces site for blogging about project management issues, discussing best practices, and accessing additional training materials. The effort focused on improving the PM’s ability to deliver IT projects on time and on budget.

Designed and managed the development of medium and large-scale e-learning packages using Lectora and Captivate. These efforts decreased issue response times and calls to the IT Service Center, increased processing accuracy for a new investment system, and increased employee satisfaction by providing users with opportunities to suggest internal process improvements and obtain rewards for approved ideas.
