Fully transformed The Gear Room's tech infrastructure. Helped them migrate from Ricochet POS to Shopify leading to increased online sales YoY. Built an inventory management system for auditing invoices & receiving products. Decreased time spent processing new inventory by 50%. Built an internal software hub that reinvented analog checkout processes to a new digital workflow, also saving around 70% of time at checkout.

Built an automated AI QA suite for regression testing, eliminating 75% of the time spent doing QA. Managed multiple product domains that served users globally, from Mobile App to Kiosks

This was a strong “AHA moment”. The conviction on this idea pushed me to learn SwiftUI and iOS development, as well as Firebase and Google Cloud. I taught myself through YouTube videos, and then ChatGPT launched halfway through development, making my life much easier. We launched the product, but it didn’t get the adoption I hoped for. Still, I learned so much about building, shipping, and iterating. It was one of the most valuable experiences I’ve had. Agency is a powerful thing. It was just me and another co-founder; we were up against Partiful and Eventbrite, and ultimately, we lost.
