Industrial Firewall Visualization Dashboard
• Architected the centralized dashboard to collect data from multiple firewall devices.
• Developed the back-end and front-end code of the firewall's dashboard with Python Tornado, MongoDB, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
• Designed custom visualizations using Chart.js and D3.js.
• Implemented a C++ statistical protocol identification library based on “The SPID Algorithm” by Erik Hjelmvik.
• Optimized the dashboard by developing C++ background processes to aggregate the large database that ingested 15 million records per minute.
Cloud-Based Industrial Monitoring Service
• Managed a joint project with Yokogawa Electric to develop cloud-based industrial sensor provisioning and monitoring platform.
• Innovated methods to detect anomalies in values read from industrial sensors.
Industrial Protocol Network Packet Dissection
• Dissected network packets on with C and C++.
• Collaborated with a major automaker to dissect a proprietary protocol and created a firewall policy to secure the proprietary Human Machine Interface.
Web-based Management Application
• Led the development to create mobile-friendly web interface with Bootstrap.
• Designed the firewall's policy editor for the firewall's proprietary Pallaton policy language.
