Lead a distributed engineering team building both contracted and in-house products across several industries (healthcare, social media, gig economy, etc), using a variety of technologies. Main engineering point of contact for clients.

• Fourth engineer hire

• Technical lead engineer, in charge of multiple key features and engineering projects

• Designed and built new customer-facing front-end for enterprise platform, migrating from Ruby on Rails/jQuery to React/Redux

• Migrated back-end from Rails to Node.js and database layer from Postgres to NoSQL

• Owned the Search and Analytics services; built an asynchronous serverless data pipeline that allowed for realtime querying & aggregation (using AWS Lambda & Elasticsearch), as well as the front end application that customers used to query their data.

• Iterated with engineers across the business to ensure a high-quality user experience for their trader oversight platform.

• Triaged engineering issues, contributed to feature design, ensured the quality of

features with custom testing suites and scripts, and managed the release cycle
