• Under the Gilt.com banner, I was a member of the distribution team.
• Responsibilities included development and support for management of the order lifecycle (fulfillment, shipment, returns, cancellations, etc.), handling communication between Gilt.com's ERP and warehouse management software, and a 3PL API.
• Codebase was a variety of microservices built with Ruby on Rails and Scala, deployed on AWS.
Saks.com and Lord & Taylor
• Worked on a team that utilized a variety of microservices that handled transactional emails in an event driven architecture on AWS.
• Integrated Lord & Taylor with Walmart.com, enabling Lord + Taylor to sell products on Walmart.com
• Improved customer experience by implementing microservice to check real time availability of products.
• Managed a small team to work on various third party integration API upgrades such as Borderfree and Klarna.
• Codebase was a variety of microservices built with Java and Scala, deployed on AWS.
