Pipeless (https://pipeless.io) is an API providing real-time personalized recommendations and activity feeds that I bootstrapped with one technical co-founder. It's a SaaS AI/ML product allowing anyone to easily utilize the power of graph databases. I headed product, design and UX along with work in marketing, sales, operations, front-end engineering (vue.js), and technical copywriting.

BentoBox offers a suite of tools for restaurants to manage their website, merch, gift cards, white labeled online ordering and catering stores along with a variety of marketing tools. Over 10,000 restaurant and bar clients include Union Square Hospitality Group (Union Square Cafe, Gramercy Tavern), Landry’s (Rainforest Cafe, Bubba Gump Shrimp Company), and many more across the country. Acquired by Fiserv (Fortune 100 payment company) in 2021.

• Head of product design, working closely with talent acquisition to build out team from one to seven members

• Player-coach while team was small, shifting to strategy & guidance as team grew

• Led product design & research on major initiatives such as white-labled online ordering, catering, marketing tools, checkout revamp and dozens more

• Managed design team with sprint planning, design critiques, 1:1’s and project design feedback

devRant (https://devrant.com) is a fun community for software developers to share and bond over their successes and frustrations with tech, code and life as a programmer. Bootstrapped project with one technical co-founder. Heading product, design and UX along with work in operations, marketing and community management. We have grown the community to 200,000 registered developers. iOS/Android/web app.

Scripted, animated and voiced a popular YouTube cartoon series based on user generated rants (youtube.com/devrantapp), and a podcast series where my co-founder and I interview world-class developers, including DHH and Andy Hunt. Created a web comic that made it to the front page of Reddit.

Launched new home & auto insurance comparison vertical, working closely with product and ops teams to hit aggressive OKR’s. Extensive user research for problem validation and de-risking product initiatives.
