Developed and delivered a software platform to help lab scientists run complicated scientific protocols on our robot at the click of a button. Built internal tools and processes to accelerate robotics development.
• Built mission-critical developer tools for visualizing simulations, reading real-time sensor readings and video feeds, and teleoperating field-deployed robots
• Architected services in the cloud and on deployed robots to orchestrate robotics control, logging and telemetry, video streaming, and customer-facing user interface
• Designed the product’s user interface, held UX testing sessions, and led customer training
• Prototyped, tested, and implemented several novel approaches for dextrous robotics control with real-time, closed-loop computer vision control
• Mentored a team of junior engineers through code review, pair programming, & learning materials
• Defined software development lifecycle, including CI, testing, releases, and best practices
