As a Technical Product Manager at PayPal, I owned major product initiatives from concept to global launch, focusing on building new engagement channels and revenue streams from the ground up (0 to 1). I led the end-to-end product lifecycle, from architecting the initial strategy and authoring technical requirements to running A/B tests and optimizing for performance post-launch.
Key Achievements & Responsibilities:
Architected & Launched Push Notification Platform (0-to-1): Built PayPal's post-purchase push notification platform from scratch, creating a new engagement channel that drove over 252M+ app logins in FY24. Owned the ongoing optimization by designing and shipping personalized content features that significantly boosted engagement and Click-Through Rates (CTR).
Created a New Revenue Stream with 'Cart Abandonment': Co-created the 'Cart Abandonment' push notification, a high-impact feature that directly recovered lost revenue. Leveraged PayPal button API data to re-engage users who dropped off mid-payment, achieving one of the highest purchase completion rates of any re-engagement campaign.
Spearheaded 'Verified Product Reviews' Strategy: Led the initiative from concept to a formal acquisition proposal, defining a strategy to leverage SKU-level data as a new revenue stream. Authored the complete business case, PRFAQ, and technical specs for a system designed to not only increase user trust but also power a future AI product recommendation engine.
Led Global Rollouts & Technical Execution: Managed complex, staged rollouts across EU, LATAM, and APAC, navigating intricate privacy, consent, and localization requirements. Partnered closely with Engineering to define precise API contracts and standardized event schemas, reducing bug surface area and improving system stability.
