Developed a web application for the portfolio company, Damansah, a FinTech company focused on improving finance management for thousands of small business owners.

The application gave Damansah's users the ability to quickly apply for loans resulting in an increase of monthly users.

Gained experience in the Django framework as well as the NoSQL database, Google Cloud Firestore.

Completed a variety of contributions to the company’s SaaS administrative interface, improving

visibility of the application’s state which made it easier for support teams to troubleshoot issues

without the help of the engineering team.

Developed a Github application in Ruby on Rails for commenting on pull requests made on Github. The application impartially annotated PRs with style issues and potential problems so that they are caught during development and the review process.

Developed a RESTful API back-end service using the Java Spring framework, Hibernate ORM,

and a MySQL database. The service received and stored data from a Mailchimp web-hook,

providing important metrics related to customer email interactions.

Became familiar with Agile development by actively working with a team of engineers, reporting to senior managers, and participating in daily stand-ups.
