In addition to the responsibilities in SDE I role, new role involves:

• Leading new team initiatives by working closely with product requirements and producing E2E system designs to satisfy the requirements using crucial cloud technologies like EC2, ECS, DynamoDB, EMR, Lambda and API Gateway

• Assisting in recruiting for the team and mentoring new team members in team processes and software development practices

• Currently applying LLMs and Agentic AI to solutions in the Advertising space, notably working on the Advertising Targeting agent solution for Amazon that scaled to 1000+ advertisers after GA

• Part of Sponsored Display Backend team that handles the Big Data pipeline for the Advertising product

• Working on enriching the data by creating new avenues of data ingestion through Spark in Java to provide richer data for client teams

• Working on improving code infrastructure by improving latency of services through regionalization and taking full advantage of the AWS cloud

‣ Worked on the Performance Engineering (PE) team building the team’s automated testing platform that would assist dev teams to setup their own tests, improving testing times and creating a more efficient release cycle

‣ Built application frontend using JavaScript and React with the backend built using .NET Core and C#

‣ Worked on the Sponsored Display team that works on providing a self-served display ad solution to advertisers

‣ Built a prototype of solution that would allow advertisers to target audiences using their location (GeoTargeting)

‣ Prototype built using several AWS services lambda, EMR, API Gateway, S3, EC2, DynamoDB and Elasticsearch

‣ Audience data processing done using Big Data technology Spark

‣ Worked with UX designers and Product Managers to improve and build features for the main web application visited 1000+ times daily

‣ Built customer support tools as FrontApp extensions and React web applications resulting in customer wait and resolution times to be substantially reduced
