As a member of the Supply Side Platform (SSP) team at InMobi, I worked at the heart of the ad exchange business, bridging communication between publishers and advertisers. Our team managed real-time auctions for advertiser creatives, contributing to 70% of InMobi's revenue.
Within the SSP, I was part of the serving team, handling approximately 3 million QPS of incoming traffic and approximately 10 times that volume in outgoing traffic.
* Transitioned shared QA database to ephemeral local databases for developers, resolving longstanding
issues and accelerating feature deployment .
* Enhanced data generation algorithms and optimized SQL execution, achieving a 95% reduction in data
generation time for the QA database.
* Migrated Ubuntu version to Ubuntu 22.04 across 50+ services, significantly improving security and
system stability.
* Secured 2nd Runner-up position in InMobi's ML Hackathon 2022
(Developed a machine learning-powered Ad Review Center to detect and address bad ads automatically)
* Established Databricks notebooks to generate on-demand log-level reports for creatives.
* Integrated a third-party telco-based identity solution, to enhance user targeting accuracy for the open
web.
* Create, deploy and run applications in different environments using containers Docker and Kubernetes.
* Performance metrics monitoring using Grafana.
