Primary engineer responsible for design and implementation of system daemon capable of:
• daily, automatic, resumable delta backups of iOS, iPadOS and visionOS filesystems to iCloud Servers and local hosts
• restoring a file system with high levels of fidelity, ensuring bit level preservation of hard links, clones, xattrs, mod dates, POSIX permissions, BSD flags, etc.
• fault tolerance against crashes, power failures, flaky network conditions, memory pressure and user activity
• secure storage and management of extent-level encryption keys
• interfacing with failure reporting systems in order to achieve high levels of reliability (>99.999)
