Led product design for Jaris’s partner and merchant fintech platforms, designing complex financial infrastructure used by lenders, partners, and internal operations teams. Initially joined alongside another designer and later became the primary designer responsible for several core initiatives, partnering directly with product and engineering to deliver high-impact features across underwriting, risk evaluation, and settlement operations.
Owned end-to-end product design across multiple 0→1 initiatives, translating complex financial systems and regulatory workflows into scalable, production-ready interfaces. Collaborated closely with PMs, engineers, and data teams to define product logic, edge cases, and system architecture while building modular UI patterns that support both embedded partner environments and standalone merchant portals.
Key projects included designing the Merchant Risk Scorecard, a data-driven underwriting interface that consolidates identity, credit, business, and cash flow signals into a unified risk evaluation system for partner underwriters. Also led UX design for Managed Settlements, translating complex fund flow logic including reserves, settlement positions, and partner fee structures into an intuitive partner dashboard.
Designed operational workflows and financial dashboards that replaced manual processes and ticket-based requests with structured self-service tools, enabling faster merchant funding and improved operational efficiency.
Applied modern AI-assisted design workflows and rapid prototyping to move from concept to production quickly while maintaining design system consistency and scalable UX patterns.
