• Developed a Java RESTful web service to securely transmit customers’ confidential payment data to payment partners; eliminated the security risk of payment data leakage within Amazon.

• Built the connectivity service on AWS EC2 which can handle 7,200 requests per minute with a latency below 1.5 seconds.

• Utilized field-level tokenization and designed message-level AES encryption for confidential data protection.

• Implemented a RESTful API for adding outbound rules in EC2 security group for new payment partners, which saves 2-3 days comparing to previous manual firewall setup.

• Developed a hybrid app offering coupons in Alipay to increase new users’ engagement which drew over 20 million new users in two months.

• Built the SPA (Single Page Application) with TypeScript and Vue.js to achieve fast page-rendering speed and increase user experience.

• Implemented modal dialog windows and countdown components with Vue.js providing customers with guidelines to use coupons, reducing the number of user questions by 85.6% in the second month compared to the first.

• Gathered frontend data (e.g. rate of visits/clicks) with TypeScript to run A/B tests on different designs of views.

• Designed and implemented an intelligent temperature monitoring system with DS18B20 and ARM9.

• Implemented temperature display, control and alarm functions using C language.

• Developed a JSP (Java Server Pages) to show data gathered from monitoring sensors with HTML, CSS and Bootstrap.
