At Zendesk, I've had the incredible opportunity to lead amazing people and projects.
I'm passionate about taking initial ideas, building them into proofs of concept, and
scaling them to a global level, and sharing what I learn along the way
Key achievements include:
Dynamic Marketplace Transformation: Drove the strategic breakout of a key
section from our monolithic architecture into an autonomous microservice,
updating our marketplace with real-time updates powered by React, Next.js,
AWS, and Algolia. This initiative eliminated the need for manual content
adjustments, streamlined operations for contributing teams, and served as a
valuable blueprint for the broader migration of our primary platforms to a more
agile and responsive architecture.
Global Website Overhaul: Led the technical migration of our globally distributed
website to a unified React architecture, ensuring a seamless and cohesive user
experience. My tasks involved in-depth research and development of multiple
proofs of concept, building out our framework from line 0, and making critical
architectural decisions to set a new standard for our web presence.
Knowledge Sharing & Mentorship: Actively contributed to a culture of learning
and collaboration by delivering engaging presentations during internal Tech
Summits, department wide demos, and a regular self-hosted Engineering Office
Hours to share best practices and addressing technical challenges in an
collaborative environment

We find ourselves ever improving the product experience! As a team lead, many of my previous responsibilities have carried over, but to a wider scope. In addition to our technology team and product teams, I've become increasingly involved with our CS, and sales teams as well. More time is now spent overseeing large full stack modules, and planning new features and sprints, and integrating with AWS serverless infrastructures.
Responsibilities and Achievements:
• Created integrations between Sendgrid -> API Gateway -> AWS Lambda -> DynamoDB
• Continued code contributions
• Use serverless architecture to deploy code to multiple environments (AWS - Elastic Beanstalk)
• Gem versioning with GemFury
• Focus to display individual team member's highlights, and strengthen areas of improvement
• Continued support for code reviews for our SaaS portal and various API projects
• Provide company wide demos and learning sessions
• Follow Agile process for sprint and team planning through JIRA workflows

Anyone at SmartZip during this time, knew "Inspinia". A huge effort to revamp and revitalize our SaaS portal with a simplified user interface and consistent styling standards. It was my role to work directly with product managers and designers and lead from a technical perspective. Along with contributing a large amount to nearly every user facing screen, I led a team of 5 individuals to complete this project. This meant JIRA tickets, sprint allocations, code review and grooming sessions.
Responsibilities and achievements:
• Led team effort to overhaul and revamp SaaS portal
• Leveraged JIRA to track progress, burn, and efforts for a team of 5
• Worked daily with product managers and designers
• Performed code reviews on a daily basis
