Strongly advocated for and built tooling to translate non-technical content scripting to XML, eliminating the need to handwrite XML, and increasing team throughput by ~400%. This also improved content consistency, removing all the errors that come with handwriting XML.
As founding member of the Content Pipeline Team, I architected and implemented data structures and tooling for a new internal content creation software + translation of its output data to XML. This allowed our writers to script content in purpose-built software rather than Google Sheets, increasing throughput by a further ~200% (800% increase from initial process).
These systems were the result of persistent iterative analysis of bottlenecks, constant discussions across many teams - Audio Creation, Content Creation, Technical Designers, Quality Assurance, and Engineers.
