• Designed and implemented an native AWS lambda service which receives and processes order events(Stored in AmazonDDB) and monitors order life cycles.
• Took the initiative to deploy a website guarded by API Gateway to visualize order life cycle events which significantly reduced the overhead for all Amazon Fresh team developers to check and debug order conditions.
• Played a key role in scaling and refactoring existing order anomaly detection
system backed by Amazon ElasticSearch to handle enormous request surge caused by rapid business growth during the Covid-19 pandemic.
• Migrated Amazon Simple Queue based services to filter based services. This migration significantly reduced server costs by limiting the order process to Amazon Fresh orders instead of all Amazon orders.
• Responsible for maintaining and fixing order tracking issues which greatly improved customers' trust for the Amazon fresh business.
• Coordinated with external teams to migrate outdated order tracking and notification systems from EC2 to ECS Fargate services.
