Worked in an agile team to develop the new booking experience for an airline, as a microsite to ease deployment, and to integrate new revenue channels.

Programmed in TypeScript, with React and Next, and used Recoil to manage/share data among components.

Fixed bugs and developed small features in still-in-use legacy C# monolithic site.

• Debugged and developed new features for a web application that manages incidents and events for Network Engineers, as well as projects and hardware purchases. Developed it in JavaScript with React.js, HTML5 and CSS3 for the front-end, and C# (with .NET framework / .NET core) with MySQL for the back-end.

• Wrote Python scripts for the Global Network team, to query APIs and process that data to provide Network Engineers with curated data about network devices.

• Designed and developed an API in Python with Flask containerized in Docker and deployed in the cloud, to process webhook messages coming from the open Internet, and deliver alerts to Kafka (distributed messaging system) and Spectrum (monitoring tool).

• Develop and test a web application in JavaScript with React.js (and Redux), HTML5 and CSS3 through LESS preprocessing for the front-end; and JavaScript, Node.js and Express.js for the back-end.

• Develop and test a RESTful API written in TypeScript that handles a SQL database for which I had to write SQL queries, and write TypeScript code to triangulate and process data obtained from other RESTful APIs.

• Design, develop and test different components of a Business-to-Business secure middle-ware, using the Go programming language.

• Develop and test a Go library that implements the Cryptographic Message Syntax (CMS), which is the IETF's standard for cryptographically protect messages, and use it to digitally sign messages.

• Developed learning environment that simulated a Mars exploration mission.

• Lead 3 case studies with high school and middle school students and gave 1 demonstration to middle school teachers.

• Developed code to feed data obtained from sensors into the user affect prediction component of the Tutoring System.

• Organized 1 to 3 rounds of experiments with large groups (27-42 participants) for data to be collected each summer.

• Analyzed data gathered from experiments.

• Refined project’s characteristics based on related literature.

• Main instructor in charge of 100+ students per course for 9 courses.
