Looking to build SMBC Retail Banking Web application from ground up, tasked to represent the bank as a technical SME and drive POC's with third party vendors. With a successful POC, given the responsibility to build eMoneyger, a web banking system with teams from Novell and Oracle.
• Recruited and lead core-development team of 15+ programmers in New York and Bangalore.
• Designed, developed and deployed an on-line J2EE web banking application which exposed SMBC back-end legacy systems to the external retail clients. Legacy systems consist of Montran GPS, Sanchez Profile System, Oracle DB 9i, IBM DB2, IBM Websphere MQ Series.
• Authored core API specifications using UML models and oversaw the off-shore development team.
• Technologies utilized in this project were Java, J2EE server (Oracle 9iAS), JMS (IBM MQ Series), JDBC (Oracle 9i), Novell LDAP for SSO, JSP, Servlets, Struts, EJB (Stateless and Message Beans), XML, ANT, LDAP and PL/SQL.
