1. Designed and implemented project “PruneNow: Automatic Shoppers Offboarding”, a native AWS service including multiple AWS resources to remove login/operate permissions of expired shoppers. The project provides event-driven automatic system to monitor shoppers’ login and offboard activities with robust rate control, avoiding spike traffic to dependent services.

2. Removed permissions of 20,000 expired shoppers in NA market, currently monitoring over 400,000 shoppers, number of daily users of this feature is around 50,000.

3. Published 57 Code Reviews, added 20,000 lines of code into production in Kotlin with valid unit test cases and detailed metric logging, completed Integration Tests and Monitoring Alarms for deployment.

1. Optimized the original code by adding new features, accelerate response and removing code redundancy.

2. Applied PHP language to help develop the company’s internal and external products used in social platform.

3. Assisted in changing remaining Ruby scripts to PHP scripts and maintaining Crontab which is a task scheduler on Linux.

1. Investigated the distributed accelerated computing solution, and finally chose Spark and MongoDB as the computing framework and distributed database storage respectively

2. Completed the writing of a Python-based distributed computing framework with the technical support of Spark, which was put into practice by the company to accelerate the speed of the computation and data processing.

3. Gained an insight into the essence of high-frequency quantitative trading, improved the ability to realize a simple high-frequency trading back testing model, and knew how to deal with financial data crawling and text preprocessing
