* Taught students to create highly customized Open Source GIS applications

* Taught students to create Web Map applications using Google Map API in JavaScript

* Introduced and documented additional knowledge necessary to students (e.g. development environment maintenance, Git / Github, HTML / CSS)

* Designed and hosted lab sessions to review programming knowledge with straightforward sentences

* Renovated the Projection module in TerrSet (formerly IDRISI), a geospatial software system developed by Clark Labs, to support more coordinate systems

* Extracted, reformatted and analyzed 500+ Georeference files of TerrSet to validate the loop-up table of projection conversion by data analysis packages in Python

* Developed Object Pascal binding of Proj4

* Collaborated with supervisors to identify their needs and problems

* Developed data visualization tools for tabular data from AidData, using open source Python packages for GIS, data visualization and data analysis (e.g. Shapely, Fiona, Scipy, Matplotlib and Pandas)

* Analyzed tabular data of international aid from AidData, extracted and normalized this data for the data visualization tools

* Designed map templates with cartography for themed map generation

* Developed, maintained and upgraded all spatial analytical functions, APIs and tools with ArcEngine in C#. (eg. Pipe utilities visualization, Themed map generation, XML configuration tools)

* Created and Maintained Geodatabases and Databases (i.e. Access, SQL)

* Analyzed various sources of geospatial data, developed tools for data migration to normalize and conflate these data
