• Developed and implemented a comprehensive fraud protection system for new country launches, significantly reducing business and customer risk.
• Architected the redesign of data sources from country-based to global, enhancing fraud detection efficiency and reducing annual maintenance by 52 weeks, saving approximately $2 million.
• Coordinated the migration of a monolithic service to a micro-service architecture with a team of 9 engineers, took over the most complicated stream (Bad Return Workflow), which is used to stream data and create investigations for customers returning materially different products. The stream is the first successful migration of a use case and will pave the way for the migration of the remaining 13 streams.
• Eliminated the need for 26 weeks annually of manual changes by automating the API, enabling self-service onboarding onto an Amazon service tool owned by my team.
