• Owned the authentication/authorization space for large global team on an M365 product with millions of MAU. Reduced the surface area for attacks by minimizing the use of high-privileged tokens, increasing use of role/scenario based access, and implementing new token type.
• Built new PowerShell skill for Copilot through collaborating with multiple teams, iterating on and refining responses, and performing privacy/security reviews to ensure trust and value for customers.
• Designed and ran A/B experiments on 1000s of users by partnering with data science team on variables and experimental design, implementing feature variability among specified cohorts, and utilizing the results to increase customer satisfaction.
• Created detailed technical documents before coding phase, scheduled and ran design review meetings to discuss in depth and ensure alignment. This allowed for a shorter and more streamlined coding process and resulted in higher quality and more scalable/robust features.
• Ensured livesite health by creating monitoring/disaster recovery plans, minimizing blast radius with staged deployment, managing rollbacks and updating feature flags as needed. As a result issues were caught earlier, IMEU was reduced, and knowledge was shared via TSGs and post-mortems.
